IKI Woodturners
(Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois)
Our club is a non-profit organization that was formed on August 14, 2005 and is
affiliated with the American Association of Woodturners (AAW). The primary
purpose of IKI Woodturners is to promote the craft of woodturning and nurture
goodwill and camaraderie among woodturners and prospective woodturners
throughout the region. Our mission is to provide information, education, and
organization to those interested in woodturning.
Our membership is drawn from, but not limited to, all towns and communities
surrounding Evansville, IN and throughout the tri-state area.
We generally meet on the second Sunday of each month at 1:30 pm at Duncan's Shop 7100 Savannah Drive, Newburg, In.
Meetings generally include a brief discussion surrounding pertinent business
issues, discussion amongst the group on varying topics of interest, a demonstration
of technique / approach to turning, and show and tell where members present
recent turnings and share their experience. In addition, the club has a library
comprised of books and DVD’s available to all members.
